Game crash when installing Project 2dfx

Every time I install Project 2dfx mod for GTA UG, it only works when I start a new game but when I load a saved one the game always crashes. 
Can you fix it and make every version of the mod compatible, also get rid of that window that says "Unknown version detected".

- The "Unknown version detected" message you are talking about is necessary. UG patches Project 2dfx at runtime so that message prevents people from using unsupported versions (which will crash the game if used).
- Loading a savegame only crashes the game if you have the preload binary IPLs option enabled. This is a known bug.
